Privacy policy

• Your account: your email address and a password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; we never see it.
• Your purchases: which guides you bought, when, when access ends, and Stripe's reference numbers for the payment. Stripe handles your card details; we never receive your card number.
• Your tests and test results: the questions you were given, your answers, scores and the areas you are strongest and weakest in.
• Sign-in records: an identifier for your current sign-in, used to keep one device signed in at a time, and the routine technical logs (such as IP address and browser) that our service providers keep for security.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies or analytics. Your browser stores your sign-in so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.

• To give you the guides you paid for and show your results.
• To take payments and give refunds.
• To stop shared accounts and copying of the questions.
• To answer you when you write to us, and to keep the records the law requires.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything else without asking you.

Our database, with your account, purchases and test results, is hosted in Canada (Montréal) by Supabase. Some of the providers we rely on handle information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union: Stripe processes payments, Brevo sends our emails, and our web host serves the site. While it is outside Canada, information can be subject to the laws of that country.

We keep your account and test results while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as Canadian tax law requires, generally six years, even after an account is deleted.

Email info@firehousefundamentals.com from the address on your account and say what you would like: a copy of your information, a correction, or to delete your account. We will reply within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your access and your test history.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Everything travels over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, and only our own server code can read account and purchase records.
